Overview

Blowhammer is a direct-to-consumer brand known for its unconventional approach that is disrupting the rules of fashion. The brand’s style has evolved over time, but its rebellious spirit has remained the beating heart of the heritage that also characterizes its founders, whose mission underlies a lean, scalable, and sustainable business model: just-in-time.

Challenge

Since its establishment in 2013, the brand has grown through a full digital approach that has allowed it to expand abroad with ease, strengthening its presence in Italy as well by participating in industry events, such as Pitti Uomo, and collaborating with designers from all over the world and underground realities, such as the Clorophilla Club.

The partnership with Visio Digital Partner was decisive at a time of transition that saw the brand completely disrupt its positioning during 2024. So we decided to embrace Blowhammer’s challenge by working from the ground up on the digital space in which the brand sells to its customers, communicates with them, and expresses itself, making the most of the e-commerce experience and the products within it.

Solution

We developed a fully customized e-commerce platform for Blowhammer. Our solutions were:

Proprietary theme and custom solutions developed in-house

The visible part, i.e., the graphic scaffolding of the ecommerce, was built from scratch using a Shopify theme developed in-house by Visio and capable of supporting international sales with different languages and currencies. In addition, the product pages were enriched with automatic cross-selling and advanced filtering features, such as suggesting garments to complete an outfit or the “lookbook” system, which associates product pages with the garments in the campaign images.

Improved navigation with Shopify

Navigation was designed to reduce bounce rates, with drag-and-drop customizers and contextual menus that cross various user flows without interrupting the user’s path to purchase or discovery. In addition, e-commerce was built in modular blocks, facilitating quick updates and changes via Shopify Liquid.

Never-before-seen integrations with Klaviyo and Zendesk

Integration with Klaviyo enabled segmentation of email marketing automation flows by language, allowing Blowhammer to be the only one in the world to manage a single store through a single account. With Zendesk, we centralized all customer communications in one place, managing live chat and customer care support without the use of chatbots.

Advanced cart features

Our algorithm suggests dynamic products based on order history and previous views, and even installment payment is first displayed without the use of external apps.

Management integration for production and logistics

We have integrated Blowhammer’s management system, allowing you to keep track of every step in the production process automatically. You can now view real-time item availability and estimated delivery time for each product before adding it to the shopping cart, eliminating the need for manual entries and minimizing errors.

After disrupting its image, Blowhammer entrusted us with the delicate task of developing its ecommerce and adapting it to the new story the brand decided to tell, so that the narrative would be consistent across all channels.
